The caftan has been a fashion icon for centuries. Nowadays this material is making a comeback into fashion, though it depends a bit on the comeback of the pareo, as a holiday item in the wardrobe. For those that do not know, a caftan is a very popular garment that can be worn by men and women, without any problems. The singer Demis Roussos used this garment when he created a flowing tent in one of his videos. Caftans were once used by diplomats and members of the royal court. Nowadays this material is still trendy and variations can be made.
